The Department of Coordination and Control of Catering Projects is responsible for:

1. Monitoring of the other terms (non-technical terms) of the catering contract for the students of AUTH, which are not covered by the responsibilities of the Department of Quality and Food Safety Management.
2. The supervision and control of the smooth operation of student restaurants at central and regional meal distribution points and at University Forests during the mandatory summer internship of students, as well as compliance with working hours in cooperation with the Contractor.
3. The notification of the weekly programs of the student meals to those interested and the monitoring of their implementation.
4. The maintenance and update of the website of the Directorate and the active social media of the Service with announcements that interest the student community regarding food issues.
5. The responsibility for the creation and support of an electronic evaluation platform for the offered catering services. It suggests methods to the Management for improving the provided services based on the recorded comments from the students.
6. Drafting of relevant reports when required.
7. The pursuit of collaborations with other units of the University and non-university entities for the achievement of environmental actions related to or arising from the catering activity (determination of carbon footprint, processing of organic waste, etc.).
