The Department of Student Services/Dining has the following responsibilities:

1. Monitoring the legislation and changes arising in matters of student dining benefits and informing  the unit and the student community with relevant announcements.
2. The receipt of applications and the verification of the documentation for students requesting free meals, in accordance with the applicable regulations, the settlement-check of these and the sending of the data to the competent authority for approval.
3. The maintenance of a registry of students receiving meals for the daily costing of the catering service by the contractors at the Club’s restaurants.
4. The recommendation to the competent authority, when necessary, for the extension of the food provision period.
